Director of Dispatch Sales
"Before coming to Xybix, I recently retired after 36 years in the public safety field. I began my dispatch career at Paramed/AMR Ambulance in 1985, advancing through the ranks to become the Communications Manager from 1988 until 2002. During the same time, I worked for Groveland Fire Department from 1985 to 2012, of which I retired out as a Fire Captain. While working in the fire service in 2002, I went to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office where I served as the Fire Dispatch Quality Assurance Supervisor and second in command. In 2014, I came to Livingston County as the Deputy Director of 911 Central Dispatch until I was promoted into my role as Director in early 2017.
Among other duties with Livingston County, I also served as an Executive Board member of the State Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS), Vice-President of the Michigan Communications Director’s Association (MCDA), and I've been placed on the committee for inclusive and positive change in the fire service in Michigan by the Michigan Fire Marshall’s Office. I previously served as Vice-President for the Michigan Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA). In 2016 I was named the APCO 2016 Director of the year for the State of Michigan."
Xybix is excited to have Chad work closely with our Public Safety team as we advance our service to the industry. He sincerely believes that we "Serve Those Who Serve Others."
