Step 2: Review these FAQs to be prepared:

What happens at a meet & measure appointment ?

At a meet and measure, we will gather all the necessary details to create an initial design that reflects your needs and sets the foundation for a successful project.

This includes:

  • Measuring the details of your space, including walls, corners, doors, ceilings, and windows.
  • Taking photos and videos (if allowed) to document the environment.
  • Discussing your vision for the space, including layout preferences and functional requirements.
  • Review your equipment—including radios, phones, and other devices—and take measurements of all monitors, computers, and any additional components in your room.
Who should be there?

We recommend having key stakeholders present. This usually includes supervisors, decision makers, and IT members.

How long will it take?

A typical meet & measure appointment takes between an hour and a half to two hours.

Do we need to do anything prior to the meeting?

Providing us with an AutoCAD, Revit, or PDF of the room dimensions for your space is helpful.  Reviewing our Cable Selection Sheet and Finishes Brochure is also recommended.

What happens after the meet & measure?

We’ll assign a professional designer to your project. They will take all the information we’ve gathered and create an initial design for your space. We’ll schedule a follow up to review it together.

Anything else I should know before beforehand?

Step 3: Check out our testimonials:

“The furniture that we have is state of the art. The economics that we have, the ease of the raising, lowering. The furniture that we have doesn’t break down. We know that when we use the furniture it’s gonna work like it’s supposed to.”

- Matthew from Litchfield County Dispatch

“They make the day go by without having extra pressure of being comfortable. Being comfortable is the best thing we can have with the situations we’re facing”

- Victoria from Augusta 911

"Xybix was the only one that took on the challenge. The rest of them were like, 'No, our desks don't fit that. That's not how you build communication centers.' And so for somebody trying to do something new, something unique, and different, and try something, it was fun to have a partner that actually said, 'Yeah, we'll try it. Let's see what happens.'"

- Tim from AirMethods

“The furniture is amazing. I really enjoy the aspect of coming up and going down to versatility of having the light on the lights off. I really enjoy the heating aspect. There’s often where the floor is really cold and my heats on all the time”

- Anthony from Onondaga County 911

"I would recommend Xybix to other centers. They're very good quality, the team has been great to work with, and we have not run into any significant issues. We have had great luck with our console furniture over the years, and they've really lasted us, and we stayed with them when we did our refresh"

- Caitlin from Berrien County 911

“I think the furniture is great and it helps us stay cool. Stay warm. Every dispatcher got their own thing going on. It helps us feel more comfortable and it’s kind of customized while we’re at a different position whether you’re taller or shorter”

- Joe from WCCA 911

“It’s more useful in what we do. It allows those that want to stand up to stand up. It allows those that need wheelchair accessibility, clear access. The building is ADA. It’s good quality stuff, heavy duty.”

- Gabe from Dickson County ECC
