Carrie Parkins, ENP
Project Manager
Carrie Parkins brings more than 25 years of public-service experience to her role as Project Manager at Xybix, giving her a unique understanding of the demands and expectations of mission-critical environments. After spending much of her career in public safety, Carrie transitioned into project management, where she now combines her firsthand operational experience with a passion for creating organized, successful project experiences for Xybix customers. Carrie is also a NENA Emergency Number Professional (ENP), a certification that reflects her knowledge and experience within the emergency communications industry.
At Xybix, Carrie works closely with customers, sales, engineering, AV, installation teams, and industry partners to guide projects from initial planning through completion. She focuses on understanding each customer’s unique needs, coordinating the many moving parts of a project, and making sure expectations, communication, timelines, and deliverables stay aligned.
Carrie believes successful project management is more than completing a project on time—it’s about making sure the customer feels informed, supported, and confident throughout the process. Her public-safety background and ENP certification give her a strong appreciation for environments where reliability, functionality, and attention to detail matter every day.
Whether coordinating a communications center, integrating technology and AV, or navigating the many details that go into a complex project, Carrie approaches each project with a customer-first mindset and a commitment to finding practical solutions.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good fiction series, planning her next tropical getaway, and, when possible, enjoying some well-deserved time with no plans at all.
