I joined the Xybix team in December 2018 to lead Operations because of the passion, energy and family atmosphere that exists here. I’ve had opportunities in my career to work in multiple manufacturing industries, from RV chassis to advanced ceramic manufacturing, as well as working in the cleaning equipment and most recently, the medical device industy.
Growing up in Canton, OH, I worked in my family’s RV business as a service technician until I graduated from Miami University with a degree in Engineering Management and Manufacturing Engineering. During my final year of college, I met my wife Stephanie, and we chose a distance relationship during the first part of our careers (I moved to Goshen, IN, and she moved back home to Michigan). That only lasted a couple years, which took us back to my home state of Ohio where we settled down in downtown Cleveland, OH and both worked within the city limits. Fast forward a few years later, and we were headed west to Colorado for the mountains, endless days of sun and very good beer. Fast forward a few more years, and we welcomed our son Colin to the world in December 2017.
In addition to my professional career, I volunteer my time and leadership on the APICS Colorado Chapter board of directors as the VP of Membership. In my free time, I enjoy spending every minute I can with my family, whether it’s a trip up to the mountains, spending time in a local park, or just lounging in our home with a good documentary. I also enjoy home brewing, as it pulls at my process and detail-oriented engineer mindset, but also fosters social time with family and friends.
